The vision for Women at the Well was given to me when I first saw myself as the “woman at the well” in 1997. Even though I accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord of my life, and had been filled with the Holy Ghost, I was in the midst of a great storm. I found myself at the hardest and lowest point in my life, having lost everything, along with my physical freedom. It was at this place that I became TRANSPARENT.
The birthing of this Jesus-inspired annual conference, Women at the Well, took place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in October 2004. We anticipate that it will gradually spread across the nation, touching many lives in the process.
